Nitzana specializes in summer camps for youth in the subjects of science, sports, music and English. The camps last 7 to 10 days and combine a lot of fun with learning.
English camps are held for Israeli youth who will soon be taking their matriculation exam. English is an important part of this test and the test itself determines university entrance and other factors.
In today’s fast-paced world, the ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English opens many doors. Students study in class everyday for 4-5 hours under the guidance of a professor and teachers.
Afterwards, all lessons are held in English which incorporate science, ecology and the environment. Students also enjoy all the regular activities of Nitzana, such as swimming, hiking, camel riding, biking, cook outs at the sand dunes, movies and friends. Students are required to speak English throughout the camp. By the end of 10 days, their confidence level and abilities in English have improved tremendously.
One of the keys that makes our English camps a success, has been to invite young people around the same age as our students to come from English speaking countries around the world and to interact with our students. Making new friends makes speaking English so much more fun!
