ACCOMODATIONS
Sleep in the comfort of one of Nitzana's 50 rooms. These modern rooms are air conditioned with a private bathroom and shower room. These are double rooms that will sleep up to six people.
DINING ROOM
The dining room at Nitzana is kosher and under the
authority of the Ramat Negev rabbinate.
It seats up to 300 people and our variety menu is
sure to please everyone. A kiosk
is located next to the recycling center where cold drinks, snacks and ice cream
can be purchased.
SWIMMING POOL
Have fun and cool off in the
swimming pool. It is one half the official Olympic size and is open year round.
The solar panels use the energy of the sun to keep the water temperature just
right.
A huge
basketball court is located next to the swimming pool. The new Solar Park can be seen in the
background. The Solar Park teaches young and old alike, the importance and
means of alternative and clean energies. To the right you can see a
desert-cooling tower, which is located in the Park.
BET KNESSET
The beautiful synagogue at Nitzana is utilized daily by students and a variety of visitors.
MEETING ROOMS
An auditorium and meeting rooms are available for speaking engagements that may include video and slide presentations.
ACTIVITIES
Experience the desert by bicycle. By bike, you can
see wildlife and plants that you would never see riding in a car. Bike trips
can be planned for individual families or large groups.
HIKING
Enjoy the spectacular scenes of nature as you hike through the desert. Follow marked trails that are easy, medium or difficult. Take plenty of water and sunscreen and be prepared for an experience that can put life in the proper perspective.
CAMEL AND DONKEY RIDES, JEEP RIDES
Reservations can be made for these rides at Ezuz which is approximately 10 kilometers from Nitzana.
PLANNING YOUR SPECIAL EVENT
Are you planning a special occasion in the future such as a bar mitzvah or wedding? Let Nitzana host your event in the extraordinary surroundings of the desert. We can supply you with transportation, catering and overnight accommodations.
All types of activities can be planned for your group such as swimming, hiking, bicycle trips, moonlight walks into the desert, snappling, tours of the luscious fruits and vegetables grown in this desert region, visits to archeological ruins, camel rides and jeep trips. We can even provide you with a genuine Bedouin experience. Site seeing tours of nearby locations such as the breathtaking Wilderness of Zin, the refreshing waters of Ein Avdat or the huge crater at Mitzpah Ramon can also be arranged.
Our staff is friendly and competent and will strive to make your event enjoyable as well as memorable.
